Character Animation Practice Model

I made this character to practice character animation on Maya. I saw this character on the Animation Mentor's webpage. I thought it was a nice character to practice on as it didn't have arms or face. I modelled and rigged this character and now its fully animatable. Whenever I make an intersting animation with this character I'll put it here. I'll be practicing character animation on this character and once I get the hang of it, I'll design a more intricately rigged and modeled character to animate. I'll soon be doing 3D Buzz's Maya Fundamentals, Advanced Modeling courses. These courses will further improve my character animation abilites.

My Spoon

Hello friends! I’ve been trying to make a spoon for some time on Maya, but I had no clue where to start. I didn’t know how to make a concave reflecting surface. In desperation, I contacted Mr. Wagner again to post a tutorial on this subject. He was kind enough to do it right away. Thanks to him, the result is before you to see.
Ok, now let’s get to the technical side. I used polygon modeling to build the spoon. Then, I used Booleans to make the fancy looking handle with metal rivets. Finally, I rendered it using "Mental Ray" in which I have used FG (Final Gather) with global illumination, HDRI (High Dynamic Ranged Imagery). Although it took approximately 65 million years to cook (render), the result is quite savory. Send your comments without fail.

Thanks.

Screwdriver, Chrome Ball, and Gear Sprocket

Finally, I have made something that really looks seamless and very close to a production level work! As you can see here, I have made a screwdriver and a gear sprocket. Before I get into the details, I would like to thank Micah Wagner for his great tutorials and personal help, without which I could have never made such photorealistic objects.
Here I have modeled these objects using simple polygon modeling, and used Booleans to shape the polygons for a desired look. Finally, I rendered it using "Mental Ray" in which I have used FG (Final Gather) with global illumination, HDRI (High Dynamic Ranged Imagery) and DoF (Depth of Field).
I hope you like my work. I would appreciate your constructive comments greatly.
Thanks.

LCD Monitor

Hello there! As you can see here, I've modeled an LCD monitor in 3D Studio Max using the basics of box modeling. In the picture you can see that the monitor screen is showing my desktop, and the other picture is showing the UI of 3ds Max (This is how my screen looked when I was texturing my monitor!) I would love to hear your comments, so I can further improve my work.
