My Spoon
Hello friends! I’ve been trying to make a spoon for some time on Maya, but I had no clue where to start. I didn’t know how to make a concave reflecting surface. In desperation, I contacted Mr. Wagner again to post a tutorial on this subject. He was kind enough to do it right away. Thanks to him, the result is before you to see.
Ok, now let’s get to the technical side. I used polygon modeling to build the spoon. Then, I used Booleans to make the fancy looking handle with metal rivets. Finally, I rendered it using "Mental Ray" in which I have used FG (Final Gather) with global illumination, HDRI (High Dynamic Ranged Imagery). Although it took approximately 65 million years to cook (render), the result is quite savory. Send your comments without fail.
Thanks.
