Making this month's 10 second club animation
I started on this month's 10 second animation a few days back. And I'm still in the linear pass. Yesterday, I didn't do or add anything new in my animataion, as I was going through some of the articles on characer animation written by Keith Lango. Finally, I've subscribed Kieth's video tutorials on character animation. That'll be of great help to me. Today I'll continue on my 10 second animation. The basic animation is already finished, but fine tuning the animation takes a hell of a time! MAN!!!!!!!!

My FIRST 10 second animation....

I made this 10 second animation using Maya, based upon the 2001-11 sound file from the 10 second club . Actually this is my first lip-sync 10 second animation. Right now I'm practicing character animation using the previous sound files, so that I can do my best in the 10 second competitions. I hope you like it. Comments and suggestions are most welcome. My animation is in the "My Recent 3D Animations" column of this blog.

My first proper 2D animation

Hi folks! "The Panther" is my first proper 2D animation work. I must thank Ricky Wood for inspiring me with his fine animations. I've been working on 2D animation for the last couple of days and this website of Ricky Wood, http://www.ickystuff.co.uk, had been really helpful. After drawing the frames on a tracing paper, I captured the frames with a camera and used Adobe After Effects to make a movie out of it. You can check it out in the 2D Animation section of this blog.

3D Buzz Mastering Maya The Fudamentals

WIP (Work in Progress)
Hi everyone! I've just joined this course, Mastering Maya The Fundamentals and its really great! I love it!! It not only teaches you Maya, but also gives you some really cool concepts of animation, modeling, lighting, camera movements, and all sorts of stuff. Mainly it covers three really cool production type projects. This is really awesome!! Right now I'm working on the first project (The Talented Ball) and hope to finish it soon. When I'll be done, I'll put my animations here on my blog. Maybe I'll just add another section for my new animations. So wait and watch!

Character Animation Practice Model

I made this character to practice character animation on Maya. I saw this character on the Animation Mentor's webpage. I thought it was a nice character to practice on as it didn't have arms or face. I modelled and rigged this character and now its fully animatable. Whenever I make an intersting animation with this character I'll put it here. I'll be practicing character animation on this character and once I get the hang of it, I'll design a more intricately rigged and modeled character to animate. I'll soon be doing 3D Buzz's Maya Fundamentals, Advanced Modeling courses. These courses will further improve my character animation abilites.
